Rimadesio Alambra system selected by ADI Design Index

Alambra collection, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso for Rimadesio, has been selected by ADI Design Index, the annual publication by ADI Association for the Industrial Design.

Alambra is a modular sideboards system, characterized from different configurations with two, four or six doors and in the basement with variations on the ground or feet. It provides two possibilities of doors aesthetic characterization, with or without horizontal crosspieces.

Certainly its most important feature is that it reduces to a minimum the structural thicknesses in aluminum, doing so in such a way that the transparent glass and the LED lighting system integrated in the shelves, exploiting perfectly the exposed objects.

It's characterized by an apparent simplicity because at the base of the project there is a complex study, an incredible lightness of the materials used and a great sobriety in the forms. Alambra is undoubtedly a solution distinguish from the large technical value.

These are the most important reasons to explain the choice of Design ADI permanent Observatory, a group of almost a hundred and fifty experts in the field, to candidate Alambra

to the next and prestigious Compasso d'Oro ADI 2018.

The Compasso d'Oro prize is the prestigious award that, from more than sixty years, represents the most renowned selection of design products in the Italian panorama. For Rimadesio this is an important goal, which once again confirms its leadership in the furniture panorama of Made in Italy.
