The new Isabel sofa that interior designer Carlo Colombo has designed for Flexform was awarded by Elle Decoration Russia "Object of the Year" at the 'International Design Award furnishings category.
New add-homonymous collection of chairs and armchairs, the Isabel sofa is completely upholstered in leather, including legs and maintains a dry and essential line that develops through valuable and highly qualitative materials.
The structure, looking "light" because it is slightly off the ground, welcomes the soft seat and back cushions that Flexform has proposed for the first time at the Milan Furniture Fair.
These are characterized by a very original finishing: Brown velvet dark brown finish for the seat and cotton Havana for the back cushion.
The whole collection Isabel however, as stated by the architect Colombo, expresses the absolute values of design and sophistication.
In fact, thanks to a purity of materials and absolute forms, all elements of the collection can be compared most of the "museum objects" that "silent dancing in the void, leaving the viewer the temptation to use them '" (cit. Carlo Colombo)
