The Milan Design Week is just finished and you can already explore the many innovations that the major brands have presented at the event.
Desalto, who attended the inevitable round of the Salone del Mobile, took the opportunity to present its innovations for the year 2015, devoting to these outfits designed especially for the week of April from the 14th to 19th.
The purity of white in contrast to the strength of dark colors and brilliance of color were the three basic concepts that guided exposures of Design Week, during which the protagonists were objects traits mild but by creative decorations.
The 2015 edition of the Salone del Mobile is open with several new products, including the two projects designed by young designers Marc Krusin and Marco Acerbis: the tables Clay and Skins.
The first is a table in the middle between the functional object and artistic sculpture that sees the meeting of two volumes: the floor and the basement.
The latter are arranged on each other in perfect balance, joining together beauty and harmony of proportions. Result of Desalto's constant research technique is in particular the coating, made with special pasta lava stone applied manually with a spatula.
The second is instead a fixed or extendable table that is characterized by a graphic style net whose plan is available in several sizes. The table legs are made of extruded aluminum, and are available in lacquered or anodized in different colors.
Alongside the news in 2015, the company has given ample space to some of the most iconic pieces of the collection including the historic table Icarus 015 designed by the duo Caronni + Bonanomi in 1993 that, for the occasion, has been completely restored.
This infact was revived with a more rounded and thin shape, with a more pleasing look: the drawers were placed under the top level with the table, becoming it almost structural
So a week full of interesting news for the company that already herald many future successes.
