Valcucine at Humus Park

Valcucine will take part to the fourth edition of Humus Park, one of the most important events of Land Art of which the brand is supporter.

To mark the occasion, on May 22, the famous portuguese architect Pedro Campos Costa was invited by the company Valcucine. He's Professor at the Department of Architecture of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and curator of the Portuguese Pavilion at the Biennale of Architecture in Venice 2014. Campos Costa, as Valcucine supports a production based on innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship, all summed up in a unique concept that represents his thinking to the perfection "(R) innovate the tradition."

The architect in fact, adopt an approach in its design very close to the one of Valcucine, which is based on the use of innovative technologies, eco- materials and low-carbon technologies, as well as the principles of passive design.

The Humus Park, which will continue until 31 May 2014 at the Park of the Archaeological Museum in Pordenone, gives hospitality to about 70 Italian and foreign artists including students of art schools, high schools of the area and the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Brera (Milan), Bologna, Albertina in Turin and Carrara.

All participants, taking inspiration from the natural surroundings, they will realize the real works of art, using only natural materials found on place.
All the works provided, will create the perfect galleries "en plein air", which can be admired by the public.
