Poliform is present in the Brazil pavilion of Expo Milan thanks to a collaboration with the architectural firm Studio Arthur Cansas and with Atelier Marko Brajovic, winner of the competition declared by Institudo de Arquitetos do Brasil (IAB).
It is precisely within the large pavilion, which covers a total area of 4,000 square meters, allowing visitors to interact with the surrounding environment we recommend completely built with sustainable materials, that there are some Poliform's furniture.
In particular, the brand has helped to furnish the two areas dedicated to refreshment and relaxation of the visitors, creating, for the restaurant, the tables in Corian and seats in leather, while the bar area, the chairs and tables with top in metal and Corian.
"Feeding the world with solutions" is the theme chosen by the South American country for its pavilion, taking advantage of its world leadership in agricultural production "network" that links growers, distributors and sellers.
Beside the theme established to set up the space, worthy of note is the ecological style that led the entire project of the pavilion, and that has been reflected not only in the use of environmentally friendly materials, but also during installation and commissioning depending on the structure.
The complete development of the pavilion were in fact made environmentally, and so are those of dismantling at the end of event.
As regards in particular the architectural structure of the pavilion, it is formed by two bodies: one in the open and one covered.
In the first, they were planted vegetable gardens and trees that visitors can look down through a path made up of a suspended network. In the second one, they were placed a theater, laboratories and service areas including its own bar and restaurant area where there are Poliform's furniture.
