A.B.C.D. Flexform selected for the ADI Design Index 2015

The A.B.C.D. armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio for Flexform in 2014, has been selected by ADI, the Permanent Observatory of Design for the ADI Design Index 2015.

ABCD remake of the iconic armchair ABC that the architect Antonio Citterio designed for Flexform in 1996 getting very great successes.
Today, the chair has been made more contemporary thanks to important modifications of techniques, including deletion of the metal armrest and the addition of a sophisticated patented mechanism that allows slippage of the seat in stretched position.

The result is a much more comfortable armchair, also thanks to a better integration of the volumes with respect to the wide and square pillows that there are inside.

This recognition is for Flexform an important source of satisfaction because, in addition to mean a pre-selection for the prestigious Compasso d'Oro ADI 2016, it shows more and more its leadership part in Made in Italy.

The brand has also decided to join also the traveling exhibition organized every year by ADI that will showcase its armchair ABCD along with many other selected products.

The exhibition will be held in Milan, at the new headquarters ADI, which in Rome, at the Botanical Garden.
