Tomorrow will begin the long-waited appointment of the Furniture Fair and Foscarini anticipates what will be the concept of its exhibition in Brera.
It is an installation that challenges our mind asking this question: "What is real and what is not?".
The binomial "Reality or illusion", that is the theme of exhibition, will allow the public to enter into a graphical world where even what seems clearer risk to become misleading.
Just as in the "Ames room", a room model from distorted form created by American ophthalmologist Adelbert Ames in 1946 to give an optical illusion of alteration of the perspective, the Foscarini space will transmit a sensation of sudden increase or decrease in the size.
In the background the giant versions of Foscarini icons will dominate the scene emphasizing the sense of wonder.
The project is a work of designer Ferruccio Laviani and will be open to the public from 12 to 17 April from 10.00 to 21.00.
