The special edition CH24 Soft was designed to celebrate more than 70 years of collaboration between Carl Hansen & Søn and Hans J. Wegner.
This version reinterprets the classic model in a palette of nine new colours. The iconic, timeless design of the Y Chair is reflected in this new variant conceived to furnish dining rooms, bars and restaurants with an eclectic and original personality.
Hans Wegner was one of the leading exponents of scandinavian design. During his lifetime he produced some 500 chairs, but the most iconic and recognised is undoubtedly the Wishbone Chair, an item of furniture reflecting the most outstanding craftsmanship, whose most iconic parts, such as the backrest and seat, are still made manually to this day.
